how to buy diamond
The 4C’s (Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat) in the diamond determines the beauty and value of a stone.

An ideal cut diamond will give maximum brilliancy and scintillation. This is one of the reasons why people are attracted to diamonds for centuries.

How a diamond is cut can greatly affect its beauty. Even a yellow color diamond will sparkle with brilliance simply because of its cut. Just like a yellow flower in full bloom, no superlative can quite describe its majesty.

With an ideal cut par excellence, these diamonds will command a higher value. Diamonds are graded in such a way because when the diamond is not properly cut, the magic of a diamond is lost.

Too shallow : Light is lost at the bottom causing the diamond to lose brilliance.
Too deep : Light escapes out the sides causing the diamond to appear dark and dull.

color
Next most important thing to consider is colour, because colour is more obvious to the naked eyes. H color (near colorless) and above is very good. D, E and F color (colorless) are excellent. Even when you buy smaller diamonds, the same principle applies.

clarity

Clarity is less obvious to the naked eyes, hence VS is a good choice.

Clarity is like birthmark that developed during the formative years of diamonds. Birthmark gives each and every diamond a unique identity as no two birthmarks are the same.

VS (very slightly included) is a good choice to consider. If you prefer a bigger diamond but with the same budget, the first thing you can consider is to go for a lower clarity as it is harder to tell with unaided eyes, whereas cut and color are distinctive. That is why SI clarity is fast gaining popularity.

carat
Carat is the unit measure of weight of a diamond. 1 carat=100 points. The price of a diamond increases as the weight of the diamond increases. Although many people equate “bigger” with “better”, diamonds of all sizes have the potential to be lively, exciting and beautiful. The most important thing is to buy the one that’s right for you.

certificate

A certificate is a report created by a gemologist, who has scrutinized the diamond and placed it under a microscope to analyze its dimensions, clarity, cut, color, finish, symmetry and other characteristics.

There are GIA, HRD, IGI, AGS, EGL and AGL certificates. These are some of the most respected independent laboratories in the diamond industry.

On top of certificates awarded to you when you purchase, we will also provide you with an Authentication Card to prove your ownership.
